The new Couto toothpaste features a formulation, flavor, and consistency derived from the traditional 1932 recipe, enriched with fluoride. It provides protection against cavities thanks to the fluoride content, which acts on the tooth surface and exposed roots. Calcium helps strengthen and repair weakened enamel areas to prevent cavities, and it has an anti-tartar action due to the presence of pyrophosphate.
Active ingredients: sodium monofluorophosphate 0.76% (1,000 ppm fluoride ion), sodium fluoride 0.1% (450 ppm fluoride ion).
Other ingredients: dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, glycerin, aqua, sodium c12-18 alkyl sulfate, hydroxyethylcellulose, mentha piperite, menthol, tetrasodium pyrophosphate, sodium saccharin, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate.
Usage Instructions for Couto Fluoride Toothpaste
It is advisable to use a good-quality toothbrush and properly rub teeth and gums, allowing the paste to penetrate the interdental space. Teeth should be cleaned at least upon waking and before bedtime, but it is also recommended after every meal to maintain a healthy and clean mouth.
Children aged 6 and under: use an amount equivalent to a pea-sized amount under adult supervision to minimize swallowing. If fluoride is also ingested from other sources, consult a dentist or a doctor.
